As disciples of Christ, we are called during Lent to dedicate ourselves to prayer and scripture, service (also called almsgiving), and sacrifice in the form of self-examination and fasting. May your Lenten journey bear much fruit and bring you closer to Our Lord, and may you be a bright lamp (Matthew 5:14-16) for your family and your community.
This year, Lent begins on February 17, and continues until Easter Sunday on April 4.
- Ash Wednesday: February 17, 2021
- Holy Thursday: April 1, 2021
- Good Friday: April 2, 2021
- Easter: April 4, 2021

Please remember, the Bishop has suspended the obligation to attend Mass for all the faithful.
There is no requirement to attend any of these Masses. You do not need a reason to stay home. The elderly and those with serious health conditions are urged not to attend but to continue to participate online. -
